I went to US consulate in Israel for H1B visa stamping with valid original I797. I was told that my information is not updated on their system but they kept my passport and asked to me check status after a week. What should I do?

I797 approval for the current employer received on 5 June, 2016. Went to US consulate in Israel on 28 June.

PIMS database may not have been updated. Ask your employer to send your H1B along with i-129 and LCA to
