Regarding COS from L1A to H1B any issue?

If someone is in US on L1A with an employer, and if some other comany is ready to do H1B with COS, will the current employer come to know about it ? at what stage? Considering that H1B goes on lottery, in any case it is not selected, will the current employer know that H1B was tried for?

NEVER, its confidential. USCIS does not send any notifications to other Employers. However, your freinds or co-workers may inform your present Company, just be careful. Also, please note that a if an H1B approved under COS as of October 01, 2014. You can no longer continue with L! Employer from October 01, 2014.
