H1 start question

Question

Hi My H1 is approved from Oct 1 with a NJ based employer and i am working on L1 B visa with a different employer since 2012. I talked to my current L1 B employer regarding my H1, but he is asking me to stay till Oct 14 as i am critical for the current project and he needs me for some time. Should i stay till Oct 14 or should leave my L1 B employer on Oct 1. Thanks Ravi

If your H1B was filed as COS (Change of Status) and you have an I-94 with the H1B; you can no longer work on K1 as your status has changed to H1B as of October 01.
