I have valid h1b visa from my current employer and they are not sending me to USA and i never been to USA before can i transfer my visa to another employer who can offer me oppertunity in USA, please help my visa will expire on Sep30'2017

Current employer is not willing to send, and I have my wife and kid passport also stamped, if I try to switch company, can that company file for my H1B visa extension, what are my chances , I never been to USA before, currently I am in India, having valid H1B visa, its very frustrating, what options available for me in this situation.. Kindly suggest.
